Personalized LinkedIn Outreach Project

A client approached me about a personalized cold LinkedIn outreach project for his company. He needed me to reach out to 245 LinkedIn contacts in the real estate industry about his service.

I crafted personalized compliments for each of the 246 leads by researching their LinkedIn pages. I recorded the responses on an excel sheet.

I used a Google sheet to record all the details of the leads and their responses. Sales Navigator was used for the project and I was given access to their outreach LinkedIn account.

For this project, only the first message was used, there were no follow-up messages to try to persuade the leads. Out of 245 messages, we had 34 positive responses.

This project took a month to complete.

Details of the First Lines Project

My client was having issues getting responses to his LinkedIn DMs advertising his services. He eventually realized that starting off with a compliment is a much more effective approach. It shows the lead that you made time to research them before reaching out. He decided to reach out to find the best writer to execute this task.

I got the job and it was the start of a long and fruitful partnership. He sent me a list of leads with their details (LinkedIn, Website, Full Names, Roles, Company Names) and it was my job to research on each individual and craft a unique compliment that applied to them and them only.

He got a dramatic boost in response rate and was able to close more high-value contracts.
